“CMRA Media’s Direct Coverage of the Industrial Expo, Exploring New Industry Trends.”
On September 19th, The 23rd China International Industry Fair, abbreviated as ‘CIIF’, officially opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
During this CIIF event, numerous AGV/AMR manufacturers and companies along the industry chain made a collective appearance, showcasing their latest products and technologies to the public. Throughout the exhibition, the New Strategy Mobile Robotics Media conducted on-site visits to multiple enterprises.
From the series of products exhibited by various companies at this year’s Industrial Expo, we can glean insights into the industry’s current status:
Forklift AGV products are in high demand. Several mobile robot companies participating in the Industrial Expo showcased forklift AGV products, including some new releases that marked industry firsts. In 2023, the entire forklift AGV application sector experienced rapid growth, with a particular focus on standardized and user-friendly forklift products. Almost every forklift AGV manufacturer introduced corresponding products. Additionally, heavy-load, high-lifting unmanned forklifts have posed a challenging frontier, and some companies exhibited related products at this exhibition.
Composite robots attract more entrants. At this expo, besides AGV/AMR manufacturers that have previously launched a series of composite robots, some collaborative robot and robotic arm manufacturers also exhibited composite robot-related products. Although the current market for composite robots remains relatively small, companies exhibit confidence in the future market application space.
Combined solutions gain attention. Many companies at this exhibition demonstrated the collaborative application of different types of AGV/AMR robots and the coordination of AGV/AMR with shuttle vehicles and other equipment to enhance logistics and handling efficiency. It is evident that combined solutions are receiving increased attention.
As a window for companies to showcase their products, the series of products and solutions presented at major exhibitions can serve as an industry barometer.
